VEGAN VEGAN VEGAN Chocolate Brownies! | Cupcake Jemma

hello and welcome back to crumbs and doilies HQ now I don’t know about you but most of my friends are becoming veggie or even vegan so much so that we have started doing a whole new vegan range in the shop at cons and dirty Soho so it’s very exciting times and and you guys asked me for vegan recipes all the time so I thought I’d show you a really easy super rich Ubbe chocolatey vegan brownie now you’re just gonna need one bowl and one whisk to mix all this together so couldn’t be simpler and I’m gonna start by putting some flax eggs into my bowl and a flax eggs if you’ve heard of those before and are basically a substitute for eggs made with flax seed and water and I’ve just used two tablespoons of flaxseed which is this stuff and I mix that with five tablespoons of water and just let it sit for about five minutes until it goes this kind of goopy slimy consistency so putting that in my bow to start with along with 115 grams of melted vegan butter I’ve just used the soya butter you can use olive oil butter just as long as it’s vegan oops and then I have 160 grams of good old-fashioned castor sugar 60 grams of good quality cocoa powder and then a quarter of a teaspoon of salt and 3/4 of a teaspoon of baking powder and then just using a whisk mix it all together and then lastly you want to fold in your flower and I’ve got 115 grams of plain flour and then if you want to you can add additions like nuts I’m going to be using chocolate chips so I’ve just got 50 grams of that so if you’re using nuts 50 grams of nuts so fall button and you should have quite a thick mixture now and that is ready to go into your tin so I’m using a 7 inch square tin I’ve greased it and lined it pop all this in and spread out and once it’s all level you need to bake it at 170 degrees C for 15 to 18 minutes now I would check it at 15 because if it goes too far I can go to click crumbly inconsistency so check it at 15 and if it needs a little bit of time add it a minute at a time so that has baked completely and it is looking really good and smelling really good that just needs to cool down completely and if you’ve noticed my fancy-pants oven gloves and you can have your very own pair of these if you just go to you cupcake Gemma comm where all my merch lives so that just needs to cool down for about half now now I have let my brownie cool down but actually these brownies are really really good the next day they do kind of settle into themselves so by all means save it until the next day before you crack on but I am gonna crack on now so I’m just gonna start cutting them up with one big sharp knife [Music] and it is really as simple as that and these are the fuzziest shot prettiest richest yummiest brownies and the completely vegan so I hope you enjoy that and if you do let me know in the comments box below give me a thumbs up and if you want to see more vegan recipes also let me know and if you’re in the Soho area we now do vegan flavors every day in the shop so get yourself down there and have a vegan cupcake so I’ll be back next week with another recipe and I will see you then [Music]
