Hi my name is Ron Viloria, the pastry
chef here at Hotel Californian in beautiful Santa Barbara.
For me it’s all about opportunities and when I first came here I saw
opportunities. What I could do at Goat Tree what I could do at Blackbird, so for me it
really got me excited and that’s what gets me excited every day. It’s been a
total success. Three months here and I’ve made a huge improvements from where it
was and where we’re at now and where we want to bring it and there’s still
always opportunities and but with 30 years of you know being in the food and
beverage industry at this point of my life. its about sharing – sharing the
knowledge to all the you know to my staff to my team everything we do is in
house we start with our via Nasri program cakes and breads or petit Gatos
petit tarts or the whole line of macarons. There’s always room for improvement
there’s always opportunities and it looks like I’m here to stay in Santa Barbara.
