    They're insanely bitter outside but you could make it chocolate on the inside. Tempered, of course.
    Then reshape and sell/market them as "Bitter Bones"

  2. Cosmo is a great assistant and taste tester. I dig his input and how Claire genuinely listened to it. I love stuff like Sour Patch Kids, but Warheads are personally unpleasant. Clara laughing in the background at the final taste result was too wonderful. This was a fun episode

  4. For the love of food Claire, watch some youtube on hard candy making. Check out the stuff that "Lofty Pursuits" or "Hercules Candy" are producing. The whole process for non-industrial hard candy making is so much different than for chocolates or other things you are more comfortable with. Since you keep getting these Candy challenges, get some solid basics under your belt for making these things by hand.

  8. You have to look up Hercules Candy. It’s a family in upstate New York that make all their candy by hand. If nothing else they could teach you to temper chocolate

  11. I’m one of the weird people that enjoys Warheads. Also they definitely have a center of citrus acid…. (at least the ones I would always get) The ones they have must be different.

  12. We have a similar thing in the UK called toxic waste….it actually has a warning on the tub not to eat more than one at a time!

  13. Claire: Simple hard candy with a citric acid coating, I can pretty much do that without looking at the ingredients
