How To Make A Pull Apart Cake! Beach Theme!

Welcome to Pins and Things. Today, We’re going to be making a birthday cake for my son Charlie It is a beach-themed Pull apart cupcake Cake. So happy one-year birthday to Charlie Every time that one of our babies turns one We like to make a traditional banana cake that is just out of the Betty Crocker Recipe cookbook because it’s a little bit better for them we think. So how we made this is we just took the butter and put It into the ice cream cones and cooked it exactly like you would a normal cupcake. And now they’re done So I’m going to start off by putting a little bit of frosting on the bottom of each ice cream cone. Just enough to stick It on the bottom of this pan and get it stuck there Use it like glue, and I want to get them as close to each other as possible To see my frosting recipe click the link in the description below I made a princess pull-apart cake and use the exact same frosting there So even though I covered the whole thing with frosting obviously there wasn’t anything really covering the holes, so the frosting is seeping down into the holes I just found the most amazing discovery So I’m just breaking the holes any professional cake decorator would probably be like what are you doing, but I’m a Problem-Solver, I’m gonna Bury this little guy forever, and he’s gonna hold this cake together Goodbye, you’re drowning in the ocean little guy I know all of the browsing that fell through I’m just Goodbye Isn’t that funny? So I’m going to cover half of this thing in sand and I probably want to use the side that’s not as pretty because I can cut for hit half. This sand is smooshed Graham crackers, so they’re just crumbs basically at this point and if you want to, you can be really morbid and Squish these little guys into crumbs to have a little beach lead to a beach, but a bot beach body Bee-bo Beach Body Beach, bod I just have some frosting that I didn’t put put food coloring in but I’m going to use to separate the beach and the water. This gives the foamy frothy wave effect, so I’m going to use one of these Creepy-Crawly, I think these are octopus though They’re like gummy worms sour gummy worms, but they’re octopus so I’m gonna put that out in the water And we’re also going to take a few of these little guys with their arms up. I gotta find one with arms and stick him in here. Oh my goodness that’s adorable. He’s going to be floating out in the ocean They’re coming in. They’re gonna eat the Teddy’s. I’m going to make a few little Beach towels with this candy Let’s give them a pink umbrella. Wait, no a blue. Blue would look better. Just poke it right into the cupcake That’s cute. Oh my goodness That’s adorable! So you take one of your pretzel rods and break it in half and now I have these little green gummies And I’m going to cut it in half down the middle. Now that I’ve cut it in half It’s super sticky so I’m actually going to put a little bit of sugar over the top of that and then take my cup and roll it flat. Now peel it off and It’s ready to go. These are the leaves for our palm trees I’ve just stuck these together enough with enough space down the middle that I can actually fit the pretzel Rod into all of them There’s our tree I’m just going to stick it right in here. There we go. I hope you guys liked this video Make sure to subscribe if you want to see more videos from me. Also you can follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or every day on The Beach House.
