Healthy No-Bake Cookies!

-Today were making healthy no bake cookie.
-When I decide to be healthy, I can’t go cold turkey. What I have to do is actually replace what I was eating before with something that’s just better for me. So this is perfect for me because it gives me a chance to be able to have something that’s still sweet, gets that craving taken care of for the sweetness but I am not throwing away all the goals that I’ve made for the new year So I already have all the ingredients in the pot. What you’re going to need is three cups of oatmeal and it’s quick rolling oats 3/4 cup of honey, this is our honey right here. 2/3 cup of natural peanut butter. You can use just regular peanut butter, however you’re sacrificing the no sugar for less sugar So we’ll just do natural peanut butter and that will be better for you Then a half a cup of coconut oil, 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, one and a half teaspoons of vanilla and it’s poured over the top of the honey, so you actually can’t see it, just kind of spread out and also right here we have 1/2 a teaspoon of salt, and it’s covered in vanilla, so you can’t see it either I’m going to put it over low heat and be mixing it together We don’t want to cook it like to a boil because we want the honey to keep as many natural things in it as possible, but we also are not putting the oats in yet So we have it on low heat and we’re just gonna start mixing it together then we can add in the oats That’s right -It’s ready. Okay.
-We have to pour it all in?
-I’ll stir all of it. All of it, yep, all three cups Good Okay, now we’re gonna mix it together, make sure all it’s covered up. I’ve made this before this is a tried-and-true recipe. Just found on Pinterest, but it is good Okay, it’s ready now we’re going to spoon it onto our tray We’ve got some wax paper covered in spray. Sure you can help me with it So we’re doing them about this big and just putting them just like that, and they’re not going to expand or anything So you can put them close to each other. Perfect. You’re doing really good. While they’re cooling, I just want to flatten them out just cause’ that’s the way that I like them. Now that they’re all put on the tray we’re going to stick them in the fridge until they harden. It’s probably going to take about a half an hour. They’re done -Do you want one?

-Here you go They’re really good. I love these, these are like the perfect thing to squelch that need for super sugary food, you know. So these are perfect they’re way healthier for you than normal no baked cookies, and they taste great -Don’t they James?
