  2. Could I use 3 cup icing sugar and one cup corn starch?? I always substitute some of the sugar in icing with cornstarch to keep the consistency but less sugary. So I just want to make sure.

  4. Question! Can you use a different Flavoring instead of Butter? I don't have any butter flavor, but was thinking of making a cherry buttercream with the use of cherry extract instead of the the butter, do you think that could work? I was gonna try it today, so if I don't get a chance to hear back from you before I start, then I'll post my results!!!

  5. Please answer every time I try making buttercream I feel like it isn’t as smooth. It frosts on the cake smooth but I can taste gritty or grainy ness!

  10. instead of using unsalted butter then adding a pinch of salt wouldnt it be easier to just use the regular salted butter??…has anyone tried it?

    And what would be the measures depending on the season, where I live in summer is very humid and very cold in winter (snow).
