Asparagus Wrapped In Prosciutto & Pastry | Game Day Favorite | Cait Straight Up

Hey guys its Caitlin and welcome back to another
game day favorite here on Cait Straight Up. I have a really awesome recipe here for you
today it goes out to all my ladies out there who might not like to get into those high
calorie dips on football game days it is a simple recipe that includes asparagus, prosciutto
and puff pastry. It comes a long with a delicious soy, honey and ginger dipping sauce it’s absolutely
fabulous you guys are going to love it. For this recipe you will need sliced prosciutto,
asparagus, puffy pastry, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and granulated
ginger. We’re kicking off this recipe by slicing thin cuts of prosciutto to wrap around our
asparagus so your just going to pull your knife through and get a nice piece to wrap
around. One more time. Perfect. Same thing with the puff pastry guys. Right on the cutting
board, nice thin cuts, just drag it your knife through. Just like that, about this thick
in size. And now for the fun part we take a piece of prosciutto and a piece of puff
pastry, just like this, and an asparagus and we just twist is up like so. Does that look
good on camera, I think it looks good here. Then onto a baking sheet. So again, prosciutto,
puff pastry just like that then a nice big piece of asparagus and then wrap it all up
like this. There you go. Look at that. Wow. We’re all wrapped up here and these are ready
for the oven. They are going to go in at 400 degree heat for about ten to fifteen minutes
until your puff pastry is golden and your asparagus soft. Not time for our dipping sauce
we are going to do this super quick while our asparagus is in the oven. We have half
a cup of soy sauce here. We’re doing a third cup of honey, right in like that. Then we
are going to a couple sprinkles of granulated ginger. Right over the top and then the tiniest
drop of sesame oil. Just like that. Right in finish it off with some red pepper flakes
not too spicy we’re not trying to hurt anybody here and then we’re going to whisk it all
together. Look at these asparagus, prosciutto and puff pastry roll ups. They look freaking
fantastic. And this honey, soy ginger dipping sauce its going to go great with it. If you
