Galaktompoureko Subscribe to our channel, find out the new episodes and all the exciting recipes on mamoukaris.com hello welcome to the Homemade channel, today we’re gonna make a wonderfull receipe which is known to everyone as galaktompoureko 1 litre of milk half a mug 1/2 sugar 1 mug of semolina we whisk it untill it becomes thick we melt 250 gramms of butter we make the syrop with 4 mugs of sugar 3 mugs of water we boil for 15 minutes we’re ready to prepare the layers we’re gonna spread some butter in the base of the pan we use a kitchen brush we add a little bit of melted butter we put the first layer again butter the layer we take the layer keep the edges outside the pan we sink it a little bit a little bit of butter we continue we put again we whisk the cream with a little bit of butter after the cream cools down we put 2 tea spoons of butter we put 3 vanillines 1 2 3 it’s better to put the eggs when the cream is cold so it doesn’t get ruined 3 eggs we whisk them we add the eggs slowly into the cream we’re gonna put the whole cream we continue with the same procedure in every layer the ends must go deep inside so that the cream stays within we put the rest of the butter we cut slightly we’re ready to put in the oven we add to the syrop half a lemon so that it doesn’t get crystallized after 45 minutes of baking in 180 degrees in resistance we’re gonna add the syrop the dessert is hot and the syrop must be cold so that the combination as well as the outcome is good ready let us try it it tastes great soft in the inside and crunchy on top i highly recommend it. good luck ingredients
500 gramms beirut type layers(1 pack)
250 gramms of cows milk butter for the cream
1 litre milk
1 mug semolina
half a mug 1/2 sugar
3 eggs
3 vanillines
2 spoons cows milk butter for the syrop
3 mugs of water
4 mugs of sugar
juice of half a lemon
